As September comes to a close and October begins, we are excited to welcome all the joys of fall! This time of year brings cooler days, changing leaves, and plenty of fun traditions and celebrations at school. With events like Apple Day, field trips to the MSU gardens, and our Halloween parties, there are many opportunities for our students and families to connect. We’re excited for the weeks ahead and all that October has in store for Wacousta.

One of the things that makes Wacousta such a special place is the strength of our community. This week, I had the opportunity to connect with the Clinton County Police Department, the Looking Glass Garden Club, and the Girl Scouts to discuss ways our school and community can work together. Each of these groups brings unique strengths and resources that can enrich student learning, build connections, and create even more opportunities for our kids to thrive. I am excited about the possibilities ahead and grateful for the support of a community that values our students. If you are part of a business or organization and are interested in exploring a partnership with Wacousta, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would love to connect.

Thank You!
The Wacousta United Methodist Church treated the staff here at Wacousta with a special casserole breakfast this week. It was such a warm way for the church to show its support for our staff, reminding us of the great community we are supported by each day.  Thank you, Wacousta United Methodist Church!
