Highlights and Happenings from Ms. Smith
Tonight is our Family Fun Night, and I’m really looking forward to spending time together outside of the school day. There are so many fun activities planned for students and families, along with a silent auction. Be sure to bring cash or a check if you’d like to purchase any items. It should be a great evening, and I hope to see many of you there!

Our third and fourth-graders wrapped up MSTEP testing this week and did a fantastic job showing all they know. We are so proud of their effort and perseverance throughout the process. Looking ahead, we will begin NWEA testing for all students this coming week. We’re excited for this opportunity to see the growth our students have made. This is just one of the many ways they demonstrate how much they’ve learned this year.

It’s a busy and exciting time of year, and we’re grateful for your continued support. Hope to see you tonight!

4th Grade Recognition T-Shirt - Last Chance to Order!
Our 4th Grade Recognition Ceremony is quickly approaching. The PTIA purchases t-shirts for all of the 4th graders. The shirt is designed by a 4th-grade student, and all 4th-grade students voted for their favorite design.

Please take a moment to fill out this Google Form with your child’s t-shirt size. Please complete this by Friday, May 1st.

If you have any questions, please contact the PTIA at ptiawacousta@gmail.com.

PTIA - Galaxy of Gratitude
In preparation for staff appreciation, the week of May 4-8, the PTIA will be creating a Galaxy of Gratitude throughout the school. In an effort to get parents involved, they have asked that each student receive a sheet of printed yellow stars to complete. The sheet should have arrived home in backpacks this week. This is a great opportunity for families to work with their child on ways to find gratitude for the community that surrounds them. Please complete and return the stars to their teachers by May 4th. Click Here for a star sheet if needed.

Donations Needed: The PTIA is also asking families for donations of food and beverage items, and paper goods for staff appreciation week. Please click HERE for the Sign Up Genius for a list of what is needed. Donations should be dropped off in the office by Monday, May 4th, at 10 am. Thank you for your support!
