Thank You for Successful Dance: We wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to our PTO and parent volunteers for a very successful student dance last week on Friday after school; students had a great time! We are looking forward to our winter and spring dances.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Parent/teacher conferences will be held next week on Monday and Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. and on Friday from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., virtually. If you experience any technical difficulties during conferences please reach out to the following staff members for assistance:

Scholastic Book Fair: Beagle Middle School will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair this fall! The fair will run from November 6th through November 10th and will be open from 7:40 am-4:00 p.m. All students will make a trip down to the library during their ELA class. Adults can shop online with their students on our Book Fair website, online and in-person sales will help our library! Purchases can be made through the website starting November 6th through November 19th. If you are interested in setting up an eWallet for your student, directions are listed on the website as well. Ideally, we would love to get a new book in every student’s hands. 8th Grade Trip to Washington, D.C: A letter went home with the 8th grade students today regarding signing up for the field trip to Washington, D.C. Use this November 2 Washington DC Letter.pdf for a copy of the letter, which includes the link needed to sign up for the trip. We have over 135 students signed up as of today; seats are limited. Reminder the Sandwich Fundraiser forms and money are due on Wednesday, November 8th! Pick up for this fundraiser will be Tuesday, November 14th between 3:30-5:30 pm.
Trimester 1 Grades: Final grades for trimester one are due for staff submission on Tuesday, November 28th. Final trimester one grades should be viewable within the Parent Portal by Wednesday, November 29th.
PTO Meetings: The Hayes/Beagle PTO meetings will be hosted here at Beagle Middle School in our media center. Parents should enter through the cafeteria doors as they are open for athletic events. The media center is located in the first hallway to the left once in the cafeteria. Meetings are held from 6:30-7:30 pm. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 14. We greatly appreciate parent support and participation at these meetings. In addition, please follow the Hayes & Beagle PTO Facebook page for more information and updates regarding upcoming events.
Trimester Two Begins After Thanksgiving Break: Trimester two begins on Monday, November 27th. Students who have trimester-long electives will rotate into their next elective course, and this information can be viewed within PowerSchool on both the student and parent platforms. As we have discussed in the past, we cannot honor elective course requests. Students placed in year-long electives will maintain their elective courses for the year.
