Dear Beagle Middle School Families,
Here are some updates and reminders that we wanted to share:
Wednesday, April 8th–PSAT, 8th grade; Delayed Start 7th Grade: Just a friendly reminder that on Wednesday, April 8th, our 8th graders are taking the PSAT. They will come to school as normal that day; PSAT in the AM; altered schedule, hours 1-6 in the PM with lunch. 7th graders will not come to school until 11:50am, and they should eat lunch at home as we are not able to serve lunch to our 7th graders this day. Just like with 8th graders, our 7th graders will attend hours 1-6 in the PM on an altered schedule. Classes Resume on Tuesday, April 7th: Just a friendly reminder that classes resume on Tuesday, April 7th after spring break. On April 6th, our district is engaging in professional development without students on campus.
Art and STEAM Night, April 23rd: Save the date for the 4th annual Beagle STEAM Showcase. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, April 23rd from 6:00-7:30 pm. Each year the 2nd floor of Beagle Middle School is transformed into a different place and time with a TOP SECRET theme. The theme will be revealed as the doors open at 6pm. Shove It Pizza Truck and A&W will be here to celebrate the Arts & STEM programs. Bring your friends and families as this is a community event open to all. You won’t want to miss this one night only event! Volunteers for this event are always needed! Any help with the show set-up, display monitors and take down would be appreciated. Yearbooks: The deadline for ordering yearbooks has been extended until April 16. Use the link below to order, and please enter your student's CNC teacher in the form. As a reminder, there were no yearbooks included in picture packets in the Fall. Are you wondering if you already ordered a yearbook? Washington DC Trip Fundraiser Reminder: Fundraiser Pick Up will be Tuesday, April 7 from 3:30-5:30 PM in the Beagle Cafe.
Hayes/Beagle PTO Meeting: Our next PTO meeting will be held at Beagle Middle School in the Media Center on Tuesday, April 14th, at 6:30 p.m. If you’ve ever wondered how to get more involved at your student’s school—or how to stay up-to-date on what’s happening at Hayes and Beagle—the PTO is a great place to start. There is no cost to join, and attending a meeting is an easy way to hear updates, share ideas, and learn how fundraising supports programs and opportunities for students and staff. We’re also looking for volunteers, whether you can help once or several times during the year; we would love to have you involved. Come check it out and see how you can be part of supporting our school community.

Upcoming Important Dates:
3/27/26–4/6/26–Spring Recess, which includes 4/6/26 as it’s a teacher PD day.
4/7/26–Classes resume for students
4/8/26–PSAT Testing–Required by the State of Michigan for all 8th graders; 7th graders do not report until 11:50am this day for an altered schedule in the PM for all students. Transportation will be provided for both 7th and 8th grade students (2 pick-up runs; 1 PM run) on this date.
4/15-4/17–MSTEP 7th grade ELA and 8th grade Social Studies (in core classes); make-ups immediately after
4/22-4/24–MSTEP 7th grade Math and 8th grade Science (in core classes); make-ups immediately after
4/28- NWEA ELA (altered NWEA schedule)
5/6- NWEA Math (altered NWEA schedule)
