Dear Beagle Middle School Families,
Here are some updates we wanted to share at this time:
Thanks again, PTO and Family Volunteers: Again, we appreciate our PTO for hosting an outstanding winter dance last week on Friday, and we also appreciate the support from our family members that helped chaperone. Students had a great time at the dance, and we are looking forward to our Spring semi-formal dance on May 1st. More information to come on that later in April. Please also note there is a PTO meeting coming up next week on Tuesday, if you are interested in supporting our PTO in any way.
Girls’ Basketball and Boys’ Wrestling: Our Girls’ basketball teams are in the middle of their season at this time, and we encourage our students and community members to come up after school to watch them play. Home games are typically on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning at 4:30pm, often lasting until 6:30pm or so. Boys’ wrestling is also well underway, and meets are hosted at Grand Ledge High School. To find out the “when” and “where” for middle school athletic (and high school) events, please click here: https://grandledgecomets.org/Events, and then use the drop down under “Events” to find your desired sport to support. Our student athletes appreciate their peers cheering them on in the stands, and this is a great way to help our tweens engage with each other, especially during the winter months.
Robotics Team Qualifies for States: Congrats to TEAM PICKLES from Beagle: Natalie Hoffman, Mason Pollak, & Ezme Tome. They finished in first place in the Teamwork Challenge – the main event that robotics tournaments are framed around–at the Charlotte Robotics Tournament last weekend. Earlier in the month, TEAM PICKLES came in third place in the Teamwork Challenge at the Haslett Robotics Tournament.

Hayes/Beagle PTO Meeting: Our next PTO meeting will be held at Beagle Middle School in the Media Center on Tuesday, February 10th, at 6:30 p.m. We welcome all families to attend. There is no cost to participate, and coming to a meeting is a simple way to stay connected and informed.
The Hayes/Beagle PTO supports meaningful events, activities, and opportunities for our students and staff, and this work is possible because of the many families who volunteer their time. Whether you are interested in helping with upcoming projects or just want to listen and learn, we would be glad to have you join Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82744686994"
