Conferences
Please be sure to schedule a conference for each of your children. To schedule a conference with your child’s teacher, go to Delta Center's Conference Link. Conferences will be in-person on March 12th and 13th from 5:00-8:00 and virtually on March 15th from 1:00-4:00. Our book fair will be available in-person during our evening conferences as well. Please call the office at 517-925-5540 if you need assistance scheduling a conference. Due to time constraints, we are only able to schedule one conference per student. Thank you.
March is Reading Month
ONE BOOK ONE SCHOOL is coming to Delta Center!! Our generous PTO bought our students the book, BAT and the Waiting Game, which is the sequel to the book we read last year, A Boy Called BAT. The idea of ‘One Book One School’ is to promote school-wide reading and have each student and family read the same book at the same time. Each student will get a book and a reading bookmark. Teachers and staff will be reading the book too.
*Please note: some students will be sharing the book with their sibling(s).* We encourage each family to read together and enjoy the book! The books will be arriving soon.
Also, please see the graphic below for reading month spirit days. Enjoy and happy reading!
As always, if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Makerspace needs your help!
We are looking for parent volunteers to help run makerspace on Monday’s during lunch recess!
Our classes do not have students bring in birthday treats. We have a number of food related allergies across the building so that is a practice we have not done for quite a number of years now. If your child wants to bring something for the class, it can be non-edible items like bookmarks, pencils, etc. Thank you for helping to keep our students safe.
With the winter months coming, it is always helpful when student's have a change of clothes. Please send the extra clothes in a clear ziplock bag with your student's full name on the front.
Thank you for all you do!
