Updates for May 25 Power Outage

Update #3 - 10:25 a.m., May 25, 2023 » The early dismissals at Beagle, the high school, and Holbrook are still happening.  Beagle is still dismissing at 10:30.  GLHS at 10:40.  Holbrook at 11:00.

Update #2 - Early Dismissal at Holbrook 

Due to the city-wide Grand Ledge power outage, the unknown restoration time, the impact on our phones, networks, and inability to serve lunches, GLPS will be dismissing students early from Holbrook, Beagle, and GLHS to keep them safe.

Holbrook dismissal is 11:00 a.m.  Students will NOT be bussed to be sure an adult is with children at home.

Please pick up your student at 11:00 a.m.

Students with last names beginning with A-L, pick up in the bus lot / back lot (off Green St.).

Students with last names beginning with M-Z, pick up in the front lot (Jones St. / Schoolcraft St.)

Update #1 - 8:24 a.m., May 25, 2023 » We are aware the power is out city-wide in Grand Ledge.  Students are safe and will continue learning as the district gathers more information.
