Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!

Thank you for the passion, heart, and commitment you bring to our school each day. Your impact on students and families is powerful and lasting—we are so grateful for you! Thank you to the PTO and our Delta Center families for helping make Teacher Appreciation Week so amazing. Your thoughtfulness is heartwarming. We love to celebrate our teachers, and you all made it extra special this week!

CONGRATULATIONS!

Most of our 3rd and 4th grade students have completed the ELA and Math M-STEP! We're proud of their focus and effort, and grateful to our teachers for their preparation. Make-ups will continue next week.

NWEA Assessments for 3rd and 4th graders begin next week—please watch for dates and times from your child’s teacher. A good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast go a long way!

K–2 students and staff—your hard work is paying off! Early results show tremendous growth. We are so proud of the dedication, effort, and progress happening at DC. More detailed data and updates will be shared in the coming weeks after all assessments are complete.

Kindergarten Enrollment

If you have a new student to enroll in BK or Kindergarten for the 2025 - 2026 school year, please contact Mrs. Reiber at 517-925-5681. Once your child is registered, you will be invited to attend ONE parent meeting. During the parent meeting, we will discuss our BK and K programs, kindergarten curriculum, expectations, preferred school supplies, and other important information to help you and your child prepare for their kindergarten year. Your child must be registered before attending a parent meeting; we ask that you attend only ONE parent meeting. THIRD TIMES A CHARM!

Did you know that this year Delta Center will be participating in a THIRD art show!? Well we are!!!!

The Grand Ledge Public School District is hosting its first district wide art show at the Grand Ledge High School  from May 5th through May 22nd. All schools within our district will have art on display for viewing. Be sure to stop by the special reception night on May 19th, where you can not only view the artwork but also participate in some art making activities; stay a little longer and check out a high school performance in the auditorium!

Be sure to check out this great opportunity when possible. We hope that you are inspired by not only our students' art but also from students in the other schools within our talented district!

Don't forget to say "CONGRATULATIONS" to all our participating artists! I couldn't be prouder!
