International Night at GLPS, 2023

International Night at Grand Ledge Public Schools is happening Friday, January 27, 2023... the event begins at 6:00 p.m. and is scheduled to end around 8:00 p.m.  International Night will be at our Delta Center Elementary School at 305 S. Canal Rd., Lansing, MI 48917.

International Night celebrates diversity and gives folks the opportunity to "travel" the world – all while fostering respect, strengthening our inclusive environment, and creating a welcoming place where every person is valued.  Students and families will be able to explore countries and cultures from all over the globe – experiencing international displays, activities, and performances.  We are creating a Peace Pole to welcome students, and classroom doors are decorated representing different nations.  MSU scholars, WKAR, the Grand Ledge Area District Library, and GLPS students and families will have cultural exhibits.  Plus, there will be a scavenger hunt.  The cultural performances are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. will include music, songs, dances, and poems.
