ParentSquare – Our New Communication Platform for GLPS

Grand Ledge Public Schools Families,
GLPS is using ParentSquare as a new districtwide communication platform. We may continue using SchoolMessenger some while we transition to ParentSquare, but expect more and more communication to occur through ParentSquare.
Why we're transitioning to ParentSquare
We have heard feedback about the challenges of using multiple tools to communicate with families. ParentSquare brings more of that communication into one place for both families and staff. It gives families more control over how they receive messages, automatically enables texting, translates messages, and keeps messages organized so they are easier to find later. We also plan to use ParentSquare to strengthen communication in areas such as transportation, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
What this means for families
With ParentSquare, you can receive district, school building, and classroom messages all in one place and translated into your preferred language — whether by email, text, app, or web. Those who activate their accounts can also reply to messages, manage notification preferences, and more, all in one place.
To get the most out of ParentSquare, we encourage you to download the free mobile app, available for iOS and Android. You can also access ParentSquare from your web browser at www.parentsquare.com.
Sign in and activate your ParentSquare account at https://www.parentsquare.com/signin using the contact information (email or phone number) that your child’s school has on file in order to begin managing notification preferences and more.
