Middle School Swim and Dive
6th - 8th Grade Boys and Girls
The Grand Ledge Middle School Swim and Dive Team allows 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Grand Ledge students to swim and dive for their school and compete as Grand Ledge Middle School athletes. New and returning swimmers/divers are WELCOME :)
Prerequisites
Swimmers must be able to continuously swim 50 yards freestyle and 100 yards backstroke without assistance and in a strong manner.
Informational Parent Meeting
An informational parent meeting will take place Monday, November 17th at 5:30 pm in the Sawdon Administrative Conference Room located at 220 Lamson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837
MANDATORY Evaluations
This is a MANDATORY evaluation for all athletes interested in being on the team this season. Season eligibility, practice times and groups will be determined by these evaluations.
ALL ATHLETES MUST BE REGISTERED PRIOR TO ENTERING THE WATER
Swimmers ~ Monday, November 24th, 3 - 4:30 pm @ High School Pool
Divers ~ Monday, November 24th, 4:30 - 5:30 pm @ High School Pool
Swim Practice Schedule
Tuesday, December 2nd - Thursday, January 22nd
Practices will take place 2-3 times a week for 1.25 hours at the High School Pool.

Any other competitive one piece suit, jammer, or brief may be worn at practice. Bikinis and trunks are NOT appropriate swimwear for our team.
Fees and Registration
Registration: $175 by Monday, November 24th at 8 am
Late Registration: $190 by Thursday, December 4th, as space permits
Each swimmer will receive a GL swim cap and T Shirt
