GLPS Families,
Yesterday I promised to share updates, and it is with a heavy heart that I share an update this morning. As you may have heard, the search for the missing little boy ended when his body was found yesterday evening. While this sad event impacts the Wacousta community directly, we know that this loss hits close to home for the whole GLPS family. We will have counselors and additional support at Wacousta Elementary today, and as we always do, we have counselors and support staff throughout the school district to care for our students and staff who may need to talk today. We know the love and compassion shown by our community will continue to help us all in the upcoming days. Thank you.
