GLPS Families,

As many of you have heard, first responders in Clinton County are in the process of searching for a little boy who was reported missing yesterday afternoon. The Wacousta family has been impacted significantly by the search, as it is occurring near the school and in the surrounding areas. The Wacousta school community has responded, assisting with food and other means of support for the search effort. The Wacousta Elementary staff has also provided assurance and support for concerned students in the school. We are communicating more specifically with Wacousta families, but we are all Comets, so we wanted to share this brief update with all of you as well.

As a district, we care deeply about all of our students and families, and we want to make sure that everyone feels supported while our community works together to find the little boy. We will continue to focus on Wacousta while also communicating with the entire district as updates are available. The outpouring of support from everyone shows how much our community cares. Thank you.
