The GLPS administration and the teachers' union – the Grand Ledge Education Association – prioritized negotiating the school calendar, agreeing to it, and getting it approved so that it could be shared with families and the community. Last night, the GLPS Board of Education approved the 2024-2025 school calendar, and the teachers' union approved it in a vote that was completed Friday. The GLPS administration and the teachers' union continue negotiating the rest of the contract, but both sides have officially approved the 2024-2025 school calendar.
