From Our Principal
If you have a new student to enroll in BK or Kindergarten for the 2025 - 2026 school year, please contact Mrs. Reiber at 517-925-5681. Once your child is registered you will be invited to attend ONE parent meeting. During the parent meeting, we will discuss our BK and K programs, kindergarten curriculum, expectations, preferred school supplies, and other important information to help you and your child prepare for their kindergarten year. Your child must be registered before attending a parent meeting; we ask that you attend only ONE parent meeting. If you have not yet enrolled your child for BK / Kindergarten, please use this link: Enroll Today!
April is Autism Acceptance Month
This month, we recognize and celebrate Autism Acceptance by promoting understanding, inclusion, and the unique strengths of individuals with autism. Our teachers will engage students in activities that encourage acceptance and inclusion, and we invite you to continue these conversations at home. The Autism Society of America emphasizes that autism is more than a diagnosis—it is identity, community, and a lived experience filled with both challenges and triumphs. Let’s embrace neurodiversity and #CelebrateDifferences throughout April and beyond!
As always, if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Greetings and Salutations!
GUESS WHAT?! Once upon a time, a long time ago, I mentioned that Delta Center would be part of multiple art shows this year? Remember?! Remember?! Well, the second one is finally happening!!!

The Grand Ledge District Area Library is hosting its 2025 GLPS Art Reception and Show from April 9th through April 30th. This is Delta Centers 6th time participating (including a virtual show) and we're so excited to be able to do it again! This year we have over 20 carefully selected amazing artworks (including some amazing 3D creations) to represent our students' amazing talents, creativity, and skill from ALL grade levels!

Be sure to check out this great opportunity on the first floor of the library over the next few weeks. We hope that you are inspired by not only our students' art but also from students in the other schools within our talented district!
Don't forget to say "CONGRATULATIONS" to all our participating artists! I couldn't be prouder!

In schools, occupational therapy (OT) supports students' participation in learning and daily activities by addressing physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges that might hinder their ability to succeed in an educational environment.
Visit our Occupational Therapy website at ERESA to learn more about the areas that Occupational Therapy addresses in the school system.

Also, at the conclusion of the event, students will demonstrate what they have learned and perform along with the high school directors in an amazing show for family and friends. The workshop is Friday, April 18, 5:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday, April 19, 9:00 am - 8:30 pm. The $100 registration fee includes the workshops, snacks both days, dinner on Saturday, performance t-shirt, and free admittance to the final performance Saturday evening for friends and family.
