Dear Beagle Middle School Families,
Here are some updates that we wanted to share at this time:
Homecoming, Thank You: A shout-out to our families for helping our middle schoolers engage in homecoming festivities in a Comet PRIDE fashion! We are very proud of our students and their positive behaviors during the festivities last week.
Fundraiser: We thank our families for their patience regarding all of the communications with the Hayes/Beagle PTO fundraiser. We also thank our families that were able to contribute to the fundraiser, which raised over $20,000. The money raised will be going directly back to our students and staff in productive ways this school year.
Washington DC Trip 8th Grade Only: Our Social Studies teachers hosted an informational parent meeting this week for 8th grade students attending the Washington DC trip in May. Please note that our 8th grade Social Studies teachers are fully organizing this trip and connecting with families that have signed up regarding updates, etc. If you have questions about the trip, please reach out directly to your child’s 8th grade Social Studies teacher.

Hayes/Beagle PTO Meeting: Our next PTO meeting will be held here at Beagle Middle in our Media Center on Tuesday, October 14th at 6:30pm. We encourage family members to attend these meetings. We have a strong joint PTO thanks to the many volunteers that serve, and our PTO does a great deal for both school and our community. Please join us if you are able to do so. Please also know that attendance at one meeting does not necessitate or require future attendance; in short, family participation is consistently a “no strings attached” approach.

Upcoming Important Dates:
9/23/25–School Picture Retakes--If pictures were taken in August and students want pictures retaken, please bring original packet back on this day. Students will be called down in alphabetical order throughout the day for retakes.
10/3/25–No Students, District-Wide Professional Development
11/7/25-No Students, District-Wide Professional Development
11/10, 11/12, and 11/14/25–Parent/Teacher Conferences–More information to come in October
11/14/25–Half-Day for Students, End of Trimester 1
