Dear Beagle Middle School Families,
Here are some updates that we wanted to share at this time:
National Inclusion Week, Next Week: Next week is National Inclusion week! To celebrate we are engaging in a school spirit week as follows: Monday: Island Vibes and Inclusion Minds–Tropical Day; Tuesday: Shining a Light on Inclusion–Neon Day; Wednesday: Dreaming of Inclusion–Pajama Day; Thursday: Team up for Inclusion–Jersey/Sports Day; and Friday: All in for Inclusion–GL Comets/Gold and Blue.
MathCounts Competition: Last week, Mrs. Amy Heriford, GLHS Math teacher, took four of our students to the MathCounts Competition, and they came in 4th place! The team consisted of: Max Aten, Ellee Barnes, Laura Heriford, and Moll Ries. Max Aten also qualified for the individual state MathCounts competition on Pi Day (March 14th). We congratulate our students on this accomplishment, and we thank Mrs. Heriford for her efforts as well.
Yearbooks: On Friday last week, Mrs. Pelette sent an email to our families regarding the ordering of yearbooks. Yearbooks are ordered online, and the order must include your student’s CNC teacher for distribution when they arrive in later May. Yearbooks are $15.
