$1,819.35 Tootsie Roll Drive Donation

The Grand Ledge Knights of Columbus, Council 7311 presented a check for $1,819.35 to the Grand Ledge Board of Education on Monday, January 23, 2023.  The money was the proceeds from their fall Tootsie Roll Fundraiser, and they donated it to the district's special education program. 

Thank you to all the Knights who helped with the fundraiser and to all the people who donated, and a special thanks to the Knights of Columbus who presented the big check at the meeting: Dave Trakul, Brian Klopp, Bud Lawson, Dan Klodt, and Dave Zerbe. 

Board President Jarrod Smith, Superintendent Bill Barnes, Executive Director of Student Services Wendy Seida, ASD/LINKS teacher Crystal Quintanilla-Howard, and a number of her GLHS students in the ASD/LINKS program were happy to accept the generous donation.
