It is the Last Day of School!

Hello GLPS Families, Today is the last day of the 2021-2022 school year! It is a half-day, and summer vacation starts soon. I hope it was a great school year for your family, and I hope you are #PROUDTOBEACOMET! This morning, I added a video tour of our school district to our website. The video is a great introduction to our school district; it does a good job welcoming new families to Grand Ledge Public Schools. The video is also good for all of us that are already here... it lets students shifting to a new building take a quick sneak peak, and it reminds all of us that Grand Ledge Public Schools is a really special community. I've watched the video several times, and each time it has made me feel good... I'm always left with that warm, contented #proudtobeacomet feeling.
I'll apologize up-front, but I feel I have to mention this: the first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year is Wednesday, August 31, 2022 (and it is a half-day). Every school will host an open house the evening before the first day of school, and some buildings will share about other events they will be hosting in August (orientations, kindergarten launches, etc.).
