Early Childhood Special Education
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) is a program for students who have an IEP (Individualized Educational Program) with eligibility (such as Speech or ASD). Students needing referrals can inquire through Build Up Michigan for screenings: http://www.buildupmi.org or call (517) 541-8937.
The ECSE program is for 3-5 year-olds – depending on student needs. The program is held Monday - Thursday and with both half-day and full-day schedule options.
Half Day Schedule
- 8:25-11:35 am
- 12:20-3:30pm
Full Day Schedule
- 8:25am-3:30pm
Parents/guardians may self- transport or transportation arrangements can be made through Dean Transportation.
Register for ECSE
In order to register for Early Childhood Special Education at GLPS, your child must already have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). If your child does have an IEP, you can begin the registration process by doing the Online Pre-Enrollment on Registration Gateway.
