Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan for Grand Ledge Public Schools has three belief statements that directly relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion:
- "We believe in an inclusive learning environment where every person is valued."
- "We believe in a safe, inclusive environment where students can explore their interests and learn the skills they need to thrive in their communities."
- "We believe it is the role of the school district to provide support and access for all students."

- Cultural and Community Picnic 2025: Delta Center families and students came together to celebrate one another’s cultural and community backgrounds. The event featured shared food, games, and meaningful connections to mark this special occasion.

Beagle Middle School Initiatives

- RISE Team – staff committee supports and facilitates different cultural celebrations for the whole school with a focus on the student team known as STRIVE
- The STRIVE team is a student group that meets approximately once a month. During these meetings, students learn about different cultures recognized nationally and globally each month. They listen respectfully to presenters and then participate in a Google-based activity.
- Identified as a Unified Champion school.
