Strategic Plan
The Strategic Plan for Grand Ledge Public Schools has three belief statements that directly relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion:
- "We believe in an inclusive learning environment where every person is valued."
- "We believe in a safe, inclusive environment where students can explore their interests and learn the skills they need to thrive in their communities."
- "We believe it is the role of the school district to provide support and access for all students."

Beagle Middle School Initiatives

- RISE Team – staff committee supports and facilitates different cultural celebrations for the whole school with a focus on the student team known as STRIVE
- The STRIVE team is a student group that meets approximately once a month. During these meetings, students learn about different cultures recognized nationally and globally each month. They listen respectfully to presenters and then participate in a Google-based activity.
- Identified as a Unified Champion school.
