We take pride in being able to offer these great, well-organized leagues at a very reasonable rate. Our sponsorship program plays a huge roll in helping us keep registration fees down.

COED T-BALL

4 & 5 Years Old (as of 6/22/26)

This program runs twice a week for 5 weeks. The first 2 weeks are practices, last 3 weeks are games. (4 Practices & 6 Games) Practices and Games are held in the evenings at Our Savior Lutheran

We offer 2 different leagues:

Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday

Practices: M/W 6/22-7/1 ~ Tu/Th 6/23-7/2 (4 practices)

Games: M/W 7/6-7/22 ~ Tu/Th 7/7-7/23

COED COACH-PITCH

5 - 6 Years Old (5 yrs. old as of 6/9/26) Please note: If your child is 5 years old, you can chose to put them in the T-Ball league OR the Coach-Pitch league. T-ball is for 5 yr old beginners and highly recommended if they have never played before.

This program runs on Tuesday AND Thursday evenings for 6 weeks. The first 2 weeks are practices, last 4 weeks are games. (4 Practices & 8 Games) Practices and Games are held in the evenings after 5pm.

Practices Start: June 9, 2026 (4 practices)

Games Start: June 23, 2026 (8 games)

YOUTH BOY’S BASEBALL

Grade Determination: grade you are currently in for the 2025/2026 school year

MACHINE-PITCH BASEBALL (1st/2nd Grade)

MUST CURRENTLY BE IN 1ST OR 2ND GRADE (2025/2026 School Year) in order to participate in the Machine Pitch League

This league runs on Mondays & Wednesdays. The first 2 weeks are practices followed by 4 weeks of games. Practices and Games are held in the evening after 5pm.

Practices Start: June 8, 2026 (4 practices)

Games Start: June 22, 2026 (8 games)

End of Season Tournament: July 20th & 22nd

3rd(9U) - 4th(10U) GRADE BASEBALL UPDATE

New Baseball Evaluation Process

Beginning this Spring, Community Recreation and Youth Baseball Organization (GLYB) are partnering to create a clearer, more unified pathway for all 3rd and 4th grade players interested in baseball.

Any 3rd or 4th grade boy who plans to play baseball will need to attend the evaluation on:

Sunday, April 12
High School Softball Complex
3rd Grade: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
4th Grade: 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

All players will participate in one unified evaluation. Based on skill level, players may be placed on either a 9U or 10U travel team or a community recreation team. Recreation teams will continue to be organized by Grand Ledge Community Recreation, while travel teams will continue to be organized by Grand Ledge Youth Baseball.

Parents may still request recreation placement even if their child’s evaluation indicates readiness for travel baseball. Our goal is to ensure every family can choose the level of play that best fits their child and overall schedules.

The community recreation league typically runs from late May through July and welcomes players of all experience levels. Travel baseball practices will begin in late April, offering a more competitive environment for players ready for advanced instruction and commitment. The travel baseball season will end in late July.

This new approach also helps create more balanced recreation teams in terms of skill level, providing a better experience for players, coaches, and families across all teams.

By working together, we hope to streamline the process, offer fair placement opportunities, and support positive player development at every level.
