Mentorship Program

GLHS Mentorship Program

Grand Ledge High School is running a mentorship program again this school year, and we are looking for some adult volunteers. Specifically, we are looking for positive, community members who would meet with an at-risk student once a week for an hour after school. You don’t have to be “good at school work,” but instead mentors help encourage students and keep them accountable. Mentors often spend time chatting about life or maybe even walking to get an ice cream cone. Put simply, the mentorship program gives a student an hour with a helpful, encouraging, positive adult in a one-on-one interaction that they may not otherwise get.
