LCC Career Preparation Program Tour for 8th Graders:

Our 8th graders participated in an orientation with our counseling staff earlier this week for the upcoming LCC Career Preparation Program Tour on March 9th.  At the end of the orientation, students chose three different programs of interest to help focus their time on the tour.  We will continue to provide more information regarding this tour in subsequent newsletters.

Attention Parents of 7th Graders:

It is already time to begin thinking about the 2022-23 school year at Beagle. On March 8th, students will participate in a presentation to talk about the Elective Course Request process for the 8th Grade year. Many opportunities continue to be available to your student including our award-winning Music programs, our Project Lead the Way STEM/Engineering programs as well as our stellar Visual Arts, World Language programs and competitive Athletic programs.  All 7th grade students will engage in a scheduling presentation during Science classes on March 8th, and they will submit their elective requests via PowerSchool later in March before Spring Recess.

Attention Parents of 8th Graders:

It is already time to begin thinking about the 2022-23 school year at Grand Ledge High School. On March 3rd, students will participate in a presentation to talk about the scheduling process at the High School. More information will be communicated from the High School administration regarding this process, and we will also continue to echo that information within our subsequent newsletters as well.

Spring Dance Hosted by PTO, Parent Support Needed:

We thank our parents and PTO members that continue to meet to plan for our spring dance on April 8th here at Beagle.  Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 6pm at the Grand Ledge Area Library.  We continue to encourage our parents to help support this event.

Hayes/Beagle Joint PTO:

In an effort to continue to support Kindness Month, the PTO is asking parents and community members to please consider donating $5 via Venmo to your PTO to continue funding exciting activities such as an all-school book (Hayes), teacher appreciation activities (Beagle/Hayes), school dance (Beagle), and so much more.  Venmo username: @hayesandbeaglepto. The next PTO meeting will be on Wednesday, March 7th at 6pm via Zoom. We welcome and encourage Beagle parents to attend our PTO meetings.  Here is the recurring Zoom link for future PTO meetings: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82744686994
