The Special Services Department is responsible for overseeing provision of the following programs and services:
- Special Education programs that are offered throughout the District
- Homebound/hopitalized services for students who are not able to attend school due to a documented medical condition
- Homeless Services under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Act for students, and their families, who find themselves in the situation of being without a home during the school year
- English as a Second Language (ESL) Services for students who qualify for such services based on the English Language Proficiency Assessment.
