Hello Hayes Families–
The Hayes Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) extends a warm welcome to the Hayes Middle School students and their families. Our organization is a busy and dedicated group, which is open to all parents/guardians of Hayes Middle School students.
Not only do we exist as a connection between the school and families of Hayes, the PTO also plays a crucial role in providing funding for materials and items that the school district is unable to meet. The majority of our budget is supported through what is typically known as the “Fall Fundraiser”. We are opting to try a new approach this year and will do a direct donation solicitation. Watch for more information to come home with your child in early November.
Our budget is also supported through the Box Tops 4 Education Program and Shoparoo.
Parental involvement is imperative to our success as a school. We take this opportunity to invite you to join us at our meetings, which are typically the second Wednesday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center (Library). Attending these meetings is just one way to keep informed about what is happening at our school. In addition, we have information regarding our organization on the school website on the Hayes Middle School page.
Lastly, we welcome you to return the attached Spirit Wear Order form and Parent Involvement Opportunities form. Any support you can provide will be greatly appreciated. We appreciate all of your efforts in making Hayes a terrific place for our children to learn and expand their horizons!
