Beginning with the 2012-13 school year, Grand Ledge Public Schools piloted a 1:1 initiative at Neff Early Childhood / Kindergarten Center.  This initiative provides each kindergarten student with an iPad.  The iPads are not funded by state monies.  Grand Ledge was fortunate to receive funding from Spring-Clearwire that is allowing us to pilot this level of technology integration with our youngest students.

Research shows the ability to customize learning in a 1:1 environment with our youngest students will increase engagement and lead to greater student achievement.  We anticipate positive results from this implementation that will allow us to begin planning to provide even more technology enhanced and supported learning opportunities for all our students, grades K-12, in the future.
