Eaton RESA Career Preparation Center

The Eaton RESA Career Preparation Center is now registering sophomores and juniors for a Visitation Day Field Trip during the school day on Tuesday, December 19th.


Students will be able meet teachers and current students from 3 specific CPC programs of their choice while finding out more about the class activities, potential certification and college credits available, and leadership opportunities. 

How to sign up for the field trip: 

  • Sophomores will be attending an informational presentation on the Center Prep Center program opportunities on Tuesday, October 31st at GLHS and can collect a permission slip then. 
  • Juniors interested in attending can get a permission slip in the GLHS main office now. (Note: Current CPC Juniors should not attend this field trip.)
  • There is also a permission slip attached to this message. 
  • Permission slips are due November 3rd to the main office. 
  • Students must be in good standing with academics, attendance, and behavior in order to attend the field trip and enroll in 2018-2019 programs. 

Please note: Signing up for the field trip does not enroll students in CPC programs. Online enrollment for 2018-2019 programs will open Wednesday, December 20th. Students will get enrollment information and instructions on the field trip.

Eaton RESA Career Preparation Center

Career Prep Center: programs for high school juniors and seniors taught by college instructors on the college campus or in a business/industry setting (Davenport University, Lansing Community College, AIS Construction, Olivet College at Farm Bureau, and Potter Park Zoo).

Students attend either the morning or afternoon half of their school day for the entire year. Transportation is provided to and from their high school. *Not all college credits transfer to all other colleges. For information on transferring college credit, explore the MACRAO website: and contact the admissions office of the college you are interested in transferring to.


Eaton RESA Career Preparation Center Calendar Information

Grand Ledge High School and Eaton RESA Career Preparation Center have slightly different calendars
and schedules. Students are responsible for following the below directions for class times and schedule
clarifications. Click here for the CPC Student Calendar.
Daily Schedule

AM CPC Students: Buses leave Grand Ledge High School at 6:45am and return at 10:05am. Students will
then attend 3 rd , 4 th , and 5 th hour.

PM CPC Students: Students will attend 1 st , 2 nd , and a virtual 3 rd hour. Buses leave GLHS at 11:30am and return at 2:40pm.

Transportation Information
Students may ride the bus or drive to any class location except Davenport University (DU students must
ride the bus from either GLHS or LCC West. They cannot park on DU campus). Students may also drive
